The JME Team is a crew of WILDLY organized, design-obsessed creatives who know how to throw + plan a damn good party. We’re fun, witty, a tad sarcastic, addicted to coffee and completely in love with what we do & who we do it with. While the team comes from all kinds of backgrounds, we are commonly united by great taste, a creative eye, a caring soul, and a genuine heart that believes in boundary-free love for everyone.
Jordan Matlock
Founder | Wedding Planner + Designer
Jordan (Michelle) Matlock is the founder & creative director behind Jordan Michelle Events. With a background in design, styling, client services, & high-level logistics - launching JME in 2018 was a natural next step. A traveler at heart with a passion for creativity & connection, Jordan leads a dedicated team of planners + designers who share her love for design, collaboration, & planning with a purpose.
Rooted in authenticity & genuine connection, Jordan’s work focuses on creating weddings that feel deeply intentional, visually striking, & unmistakably “you.” Built on collaboration, inclusivity, and celebrating love without boundaries - JME is known for its thoughtful approach, community focus, and heartfelt experiences. Jordan’s goal for JME is simple: to build a brand grounded in intention, style, passion and fun while ensuring every couple & team member feels supported, seen, heard & excited every step of the way.
JoAnna Pacilio
Lead Planner + Designer
JoAnna was the first Lead Planner to join Jordan + JME in 2020, making her the '“OG” with a true passion for weddings that keeps growing with every season. Known for her organization, attention to detail, & calming presence - she’s dedicated to executing your vision while keeping your day stress-free and seamless.
When she’s not planning weddings, JoAnna is exploring new restaurants, traveling to fresh destinations (yep, she loves destination weddings!), strolling the boardwalk, listening to wellness podcasts, or hanging with her pup, Mila.
Ciera Hughes
Lead Planner + Designer
Ciera is our calm-in-the-chaos, detail-driven Lead Wedding Planner + Designer — the go-to for couples who want their day to run flawlessly. Known for her Type-A organization, clear communication, and ability to anticipate needs before they arise, she brings structure and strategy to every step.
As a fellow bride, she understands how overwhelming planning can feel, which is why her approach is both streamlined and reassuring. From meticulous timelines to calm problem-solving under pressure, Ciera ensures no detail is missed and no stress reaches you. Outside of weddings, she loves relaxing with her family and sharing good food.
Elizabeth Aguirre
Lead Planner + Designer
Elizabeth is our fast-paced, creative Lead Planner + Designer who’s always three steps ahead. With years of experience planning luxury weddings and corporate events, she’s now fully devoted to weddings—and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Known for her organization, passion, and hands-on approach, Elizabeth treats every celebration as if it were her own.
When she’s not planning weddings, she’s spending time with family, cuddling her cat Max, or exploring new coffee shops (coffee is her love language!).
Gabrielle Dwyer
Bicoastal Lead Planner + Designer
Gabrielle is our nonstop, on-the-go Lead Planner with endless energy and a true love for weddings. After starting her career in personal training, she discovered her passion for the industry while assisting Jordan and never looked back. Known for her problem-solving, creativity, and ability to stay steps ahead, Gabrielle ensures every wedding runs seamlessly.
Outside of planning, she’s likely at the gym, adventuring with her pup Lucy, or planning her next travel destination.
Danielle Collins
Lead Planner + Designer
Danielle is our enthusiastic, multitasking Lead Planner + Designer who thrives on keeping couples stress-free and fully present while she handles the rest. Quick-thinking and innovative, she loves anticipating challenges, perfecting every detail, and bringing her couples’ vision to life—venue reveals are her favorite moment. Her journey began when she assisted Jordan at a Hamptons wedding and was instantly hooked. For Danielle, wedding planning isn’t just about the day itself, but about creating lifelong memories her couples will never forget.
Outside of weddings, she enjoys time with friends and family (selfies included), karaoke nights with cosmos, and offering her spray-tan skills to anyone willing!
Rachel Sanderson
Lead Planner + Designer
Rachel is our always-smiling Lead Planner + Designer, known for her bubbly personality and contagious laugh. A natural “go-to” planner for family and friends, she’s been organizing events for as long as she can remember. With her creativity and eye for detail, Rachel ensures every wedding feels uniquely personalized to her couples - her goal is for guests to walk away saying, “that was so them!”
Outside of weddings, Rachel loves spending time with her husband, their new daughter Hailey and their two dogs, testing out new recipes, and traveling in search of her next adventure.
Veronica Martinez
California Lead Planner + Designer
Veronica is our detail-oriented Lead Planner + Designer who thrives under pressure and brings a calming presence to every couple. Imaginative and open-minded, she loves turning wedding dreams into reality and believes the best part of the night is watching her couples celebrate on the dance floor with loved ones.
Born and raised in San Diego, Veronica joined JME as the first West Coast Lead Planner after assisting Jordan on a wedding—and everything just clicked. With years of event experience, she’s been a key part of our team ever since.
Outside of planning, you’ll find her soaking up the sunshine with her two pups, cheering on the Padres with a margarita, or tackling a new Pinterest DIY project.
Lauren Bender
Lead Planner + Designer
Lauren is our dedicated Lead Planner + Designer who joined JME after planning her own wedding & hearing rave reviews from her fellow planner (thanks, Danielle!) and is beyond grateful to be part of this team. Goal-oriented and calm under pressure, she thrives in fast-paced wedding days - and she fully admits that she tears up at every single ceremony + vow exchange, no matter what... She packs her own tissues, don’t worry.
With a background in coordinating events for over 100 residents at an assisted living center, Lauren gained invaluable skills in patience, organization, and creating meaningful experiences. Outside of weddings, she enjoys snuggling her new baby boy Andrew with a side passion of traveling - next stops: Mexico City and Antigua!
Holly McDonnell
Lead Planner + Designer
Holly is a seasoned Lead Planner + Designer with a talent for turning wedding visions (big or intimate) into reality. With experience at prestigious venues worldwide, she’s known for her creativity, problem-solving, & ability to bring dream weddings to life with unbelievable ease.
A passionate traveler & foodie, Holly embraces both calm + chaos in equal measure. Outside of weddings, you’ll find her with a good book at a coffee shop or enjoying time with her partner, three daughters, two pups, and a close circle of friends who bring joy to her life every day.
Jesse Kotler
Lead Planner + Designer
Jesse is our Lead Planner who approaches every wedding with the care & attention she would give her own, turning each celebration into a meaningful experience. Known for being calm, organized, creative, and always a few steps ahead of everyone, she ensures every detail is handled flawlessly - giving couples a seamless, stress-free planning experience.
Blending her eye for design with a warm, caring energy, Jesse makes every couple feel supported and celebrated as if it was the only wedding she was planning. Inspired by planning her own wedding, she now brings a deeper heart, creativity, and precision to every event, crafting beautifully executed celebrations .
Danielle Drexler
Lead Planner + Designer
Danielle (Dani) is our Lead Planner who joined the team to turn her endless love for design, organization, & all creative things into a career she was truly made for - wedding planning! Known for her creativity & meticulous eye, Danielle thrives in the world of art, color palettes, & thoughtful aesthetics - both digitally & in real life. Her past experience as a outside hardscape project manager + designer means she’s no stranger to coordinating teams, managing budgets, solving problems on the fly, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes - rain or shine (literally!).
Outside of planning, Danielle is exploring new restaurants, traveling, visiting the botanical gardens, enjoying the outdoors and soaking up inspiration in the world around her.
Melanie Nesci
Assistant Lead Planner
Melanie is one of our Assistant Lead Planners, known for her calm, positive energy that instantly puts couples at ease. After years of admiring JME, she jumped at the chance to join the team and bring her background as an NBC Sports event coordinator into the wedding world. She loves meeting new people, embracing the creative process, and helping couples create memories that last a lifetime.
When she’s not assisting with weddings, Melanie plans fundraising events for a veteran nonprofit, cheers on her hometown Buffalo Bills, or spends time outdoors with her family - whether at the beach, on the slopes, or dancing at concerts.
Liana Marino
Assistant Lead Planner
Liana is one of our newest Assistant Lead Planners, known for her attention to detail and ability to stay one (or two!) steps ahead. After a career in corporate America, she started her own custom cake business, Love, Li Cakes LLC, gaining hands-on experience in client communication and project management that makes her a reliable resource on your wedding day.
Her love for wedding planning began as the unofficial planner for her sister’s wedding, and she’s thrilled to bring that same care and creativity to JME couples. Outside of weddings, Liana enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring Long Island’s pop-ups and local restaurants, and, of course, baking!
Alyssa Kearns
Assistant Lead Planner
Alyssa is one of our Assistant Lead Planners, bringing bright, positive energy to every wedding. Her goal is simple—keep things stress-free and ensure couples are smiling every step of the way. Thriving under pressure and with a keen eye for detail, she loves turning wedding dreams into reality (and yes, she may shed a tear along the way).
Outside of weddings, Alyssa works as an academic counselor, and enjoys exploring the world with her two young boys, embracing every family adventure with joy and positivity.
Brianna Manginelli
Assistant Lead Planner
Brianna is one of our newest additions to the JME family! Working with our brides and grooms is more than just a job for her; she sees the time as fulfilling a lifelong dream. Dating back to her childhood pink, bejeweled notebook where she organized every family gathering - event planning has always been her calling. When Brianna isn’t working a wedding, she is pursuing a degree in occupational therapy and we are so excited for her to graduate! Always up for a challenge, Brianna loves a detailed checklist and is constantly looking for fun ways to assist in making all your fun wedding ideas into a reality!
Taylor Sinovoi
Assistant Lead Planner
Taylor is our creative storyteller with a passion for crafting memorable experiences. A FIDM graduate in Interior Design, she loves transforming spaces—whether designing interiors, planning events, or bringing bold creative visions to life. Her love for event planning started early, from designing her Sweet 16 florals to creating immersive themed parties, and her keen eye for detail was honed through yearbook design, photography, and web projects.
Outside of planning, Taylor seeks inspiration through travel, trying new foods, concerts, and beach days, believing great design is as much about how a space feels as how it looks.
Jeena Deeb
Assistant Lead Planner
Jeena is an assistant planner with a passion for creating seamless, stress-free wedding experiences from day one. After planning her own wedding and falling in love with the process, she knew she wanted to help others feel that same joy. Detail-oriented + creatively driven, she supports each step with care, precision, and a warm personal touch.
With an MBA and thriving corporate background, she brings business savvy and creative energy to every project. Her entrepreneurial spirit also inspired a charcuterie business, reflecting her love for beauty, organization, and thoughtful presentation.
Nicole Meisner
In-House Designer
Nikki is our lead in-house designer at JME! She has always had a passion for crafting, creating, and designing, and it has translated to the world of wedding planning seamlessly. For as long as she can remember, Nikki has always had an eye for the little details- the pieces of an event that though may be small, effortlessly tie the theme together. No detail is too small, and no project is too big. (Seriously- ask her about how she used her cricut so much while planning her own wedding, she actually killed it and had to get a new one!) She loves trying new crafts, so throw whatever idea you have at her and she won't stop practicing until she perfects it. She takes pride in her ability to execute your day, and create the pieces of your wedding that makes your guests ooh and ahh all night long!
When she isn't burying herself in design boards & her cricut, you can usually find her curled up with a good book or walking up & down the aisles of a bookstore. She almost always has a Starbucks refresher in hand- fueling her for the day ahead! She enjoys spending time with her husband, ogling at any dog that walks past her and is probably in the middle of planning her next Disney trip before the current one is over.
